IT WAS ON February 4, 2004 that a college student enabled public access to a project that would change a lot of how modern society interacts today.
Then-Harvard undergraduate Mark Zuckerberg launched Thefacebook.com eight years ago today – the site which has now become one of the most popular sites on the planet, with 855 million users each month.
The site has, of course, curtailed its name and had a couple of redesigns – but i thought it was worth offering a quick reminder of how it looked when it was launched, and therefore how it’s come on it the last eight years.
when Happy Birthday FACEBOOK is trending on Twitter its speak the volume, having said that facebook isn't nearly as good as Twitter. Have a great birthday!Feb 2004 was an interesting month, when it all started. From Zero to Everything. From a college dormitory to the biggest IPO..Zuckerberg launched the Addictive Social Media Network today known as Facebook is 8 years old today. Awkward age. Already too old for Gary Glitter and not yet old enough for Caroline Flack, its been 8 years now Still waiting on that dislike button... FACEBOOK. You should be lucky there's people remembered your birthday. Because just so you know, everybody is forgetting you. you went from a brilliant social network to a place for illiterate arguments.
Happy Birthday Facebook. May GOD help you to waste more and more time of more and more people!!!
as rameshsrivats tweets : 'Congratulations on turning 8. But hang on. 5 more years till you're old enough to join Facebook."
You were great for a few years. Good luck for the next 8!
