6. Through this trial, Allah has opened up a huge world of ibadah like sabr, salah, repentance, and more.

7. With this trial, Allah is putting you on the path of the Prophets. 

It is a confirmation that Allah loves you. The more Allah loves somebody, the more he tests them.

Bengaluru airport shut till March 31

In support of the government's measures to control spread of coronavirus, the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru will remain closed to passengers from 2359 hours on March 24 until 2359 hours IST on March 31.

'However, as per government order, the airport will continue to facilitate the transport of essential commodities through its cargo operations,' Bangaluru International Airport Limited MD and CEO, Hari Marar said.

BIAL has taken every preventive measure to contain the spread of virus, including regular screening of all staff-both before and after shifts, the provision of safety equipment like facemasks, gloves and access to hand sanitiser, he said.

"We are working closely with the State Health Department and Airport Health Organisation to control the virus and have done everything in our capacity to safeguard our surroundings," Marar said in a statement. -- PTI

Lockdown in some Districs of Karnataka.

Lockdown in these districts till March 31'2020 in a bid to stem the spread of #Coronavirus:

● Bangalore urban

● Bangalore rural

● Mangaluru

● Mysuru

● Kalaburgi 

● Dharwad,

● Chikkaballapura

● Kodagu

● Belgaum

Speaking to reporters, Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that only essential services will be allowed to operate. All other commercial establishments will be shut. 

The minister however clarified that grocery stores as well as medical services can remain open. Agricultural activities will be allowed to continue while auto and taxis will function. Factories will be allowed to function on alternate days. All inter- district transport in the nine districts under lockdown will be stopped till March 31. Public transport like Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) buses and metro services will not operate till March 31.

On Monday, public transport will be curtailed across the state after the state government extended the restrictions placed on BMTC and KSRTC buses for the Janata Curfew on Sunday. After Monday, public transport will be restricted in the 9 districts where a lockdown will be observed, 

Government offices will be open in the nine districts, Basavaraj Bommai stated. 

The class 12 examination scheduled for Monday will go ahead as it is the last exam for the students of the class. The state government is working to ensure transportation is not an issue for students across the state. 

The decision to lockdown 75 districts across India was taken at a high-level meeting held this morning with Chief Secretaries of all the states by the Cabinet Secretary and the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister.

“Here’s my story with coronavirus, especially for young people who think this virus isn’t dangerous. .😷🤒🤕

I started feeling chills and my body felt weak on March 8th, I thought it is a normal cold/flu that will heal soon. 

It started hitting me when I was on the bus from DC to NYC. High temperature, severe chills, sweating, body aches, terrible headache, I stayed home for 5 days and continued to monitor my symptoms thinking that it maybe just a bad flu. 

After the fifth day I went to urgent care because my symptoms has been getting worse, by the time the doctor started running some tests I fainted and they called the ambulance 🚑, after they transferred me to mount Sinai. From the moment I got there I was kept in an isolated room by myself, they definitely didn’t know what to do. They ran some tests on me every 4 hours, with no information or telling me what I have or what’s wrong with me, I was shaking and felt like I was dying with only IVs in my arm. After they took some blood and swapped my nose for covid-19 test I waited again until 4 am in the morning, I got discharged and sent home after 12 hours in the ER and instructed to only take Tylenol.

the hospitals and USA is completely unprepared for this, I don’t recommend relying on hospitals or the healthcare system. 

After 4 days I got my test result back that I am positive. I still have the same symptoms with no progress, but I started developing pneumonia and can’t breathe normally because there is NO cure, it was followed by coughing blood, now I have no fever but I still can’t breathe normally, apparently the virus has spread into my lungs.

I am still not cured or healed from covid-19 and I will be going to the emergency room again for my developed pneumonia..

( doctors and everyone in the ER have no idea how to deal with this virus, they are only depending on your body to fight it) .

Emergency Meeting by Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Emergency Meeting by Chief Minister of Karnataka and decisions taken:

SSLC Exams postponed, State borders to be closed

Bengaluru, March 22- 

Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa held an emergency meeting with Dr. Devi Shetty and the minister members of taskforce today at 6 AM.

Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Ashwathanarayana, Home Minister Basavaraja Bommai, Medical Education Minister Dr. Sudhakar were present in the Meeting.

Highlights of the Meeting:

1. SSLC exams to be postponed until further orders.

2. State Borders to be closed.

 

3. 1700 bed Victoria Hospital in Bangalore to be dedicated covid 19 hospital

4. Steps to obtain permission to test Covid19 in more number of Government and Private hospitals with cooperation from ICMR and NIV.

5. To increase the number of lab tests.

6. Domestic air passengers to be screened at airports 

7. All elections postponed.

8.War room to be opened, Govt Guest house "Balboorie" in Bangalore to be made into 24/7 war room, Chief Minister will take the lead.

9. Ration of next two months will be provided in advance.

10. Requested people from city not to visit villages.

Advisory on Social Distancing Measure in view of spread of COVID-19 disease

 Social distancing is a non-pharmaceutical infection prevention and control intervention implemented to avoid/decrease contact between those who are infected with a disease causing pathogen and those who are not, so as to stop or slow down the rate and extent of disease transmission in a community. This eventually leads to decrease in spread, morbidity and mortality due to the disease. In addition to the proposed interventions, the State/UT Governments may prescribe such other measures as they consider necessary. All these proposed interventions shall be in force till 31st of March, 2020. They will be reviewed as per the evolving situation. The following interventions are proposed:
1. Closure of all educational establishments (schools, universities etc), gyms, museums, cultural and social centres, swimming pools and theatres. Students should be advised to stay at home. Online education to be promoted.
2. Possibility of postponing exams may be explored. Ongoing exams to be conducted only after ensuring physical distance of one meter amongst students.
3. Encourage private sector organizations/employers to allow employees to work from home wherever feasible.
4. Meetings, as far as feasible, shall be done through video conferences. Minimize or reschedule meetings involving large number of people unless necessary.
5. Restaurants to ensure handwashing protocol and proper cleanliness of frequently touched surfaces. Ensure physical distancing (minimum 1metre) between tables; encourage open air seating where practical with adequate distancing.
6. Keep already planned weddings to a limited gathering, postpone all non-essential social and cultural gatherings.
7. Local authorities to have a dialogue with organizers of sporting events and competitions involving large gatherings and they may be advised to postpone such events.
8. Local authorities to have a dialogue with opinion leaders and religious leaders to regulate mass gatherings and should ensure no overcrowding/at least one metre distance between people.
9. Local authorities to have meeting with traders associations and other stakeholders to regulate hours, exhibit Do’s and Don’ts and take up a communication drive in market places like sabzi mandi, anaj mandi, bus depots, railway stations, post-offices etc., where essential services are provided.
10. All commercial activities must keep a distance of one meter between customers. Measures to reduce peak hour crowding in markets.
11. Non-essential travel should be avoided. Buses, Trains and aeroplanes to maximize social distancing in public transport besides ensuring regular and proper disinfection of surfaces.
12. Hospitals to follow necessary protocol related with COVID-19 management as prescribed and restrict family/friends/children visiting patients in hospitals.
13. Hygiene and physical distancing has to be maintained. Shaking hands and hugging as a matter of greeting to be avoided.
14. Special protective measures for delivery men/ women working in online ordering services.
15. Keep communities informed consistently and constantly.
