Ye baat samajh me aayi nahi,
Aur mummy ne samajhai nahi.

Mai kaise mithi baat karu?
Jab mithi chiz koi khai nhi.
Ye chand kaise maamu hai?
Jab mumy ka wo bhai nahi.

Kyu lambe baal hai bhaalu ke?
Kyu usne triming karai nahi.
Kya wo bi ganda bachha hai?
Ya jungle me koi naai nahi.

Nana ki biwi jab nani hai,
Dada ki biwi jab dadi hai.
Papa ki biwi kyon papi nahi?

Samundar ka rang kyu neela hai?
Jab neel kisi ne milai nahi.
Jab school me itni neend aati hai.
Toh kyu bed waha rakhwai nahi?

Ye baat samajh mein aayi nahi
Aur mummy ne samjhai nhai.

The beauty of Islam

It's a beautiful way
Islam is a beautiful way to connect with God and there is no doubt that one can follow Islam and find peace in its truest form. We, through this discussion, will try to look at some of the most essential features of Islam.
What's the concept of God in Islam
The highest point of any path is assessed on the basis of what it has to say about God. Islam has some beautiful statements on God and these statements echo the same feelings as expressed by other paths.
God is One and Unique:
Islam says that God is One and Unique. It doesn't have a second. For that matter, it has no equals or rivals.
God is Perfect
Islam maintains that God is Perfect. God has no limitations or conditions.
God alone is worthy of all worship
Islam declares that God alone is worthy of worship. There is no reason why humanity should run after the worldly power or riches. Seeking God's grace should be the only objective
God is the All-Powerful
Islam says that God is All-Powerful. There is nothing beyond His reach or reign. God has full authority and power over all things.
God is beyond attributes
Islam says that if people obey God, it does not increase God's power; similarly, if people don't obey, it does not decrease the power. Isn't it beautiful. The concept of followers is made so clear--a good human being is for himself and not for God. He does not need supporters--we need good people for our society.
Other injunctions for people
There are many injunctions that are given in Islam. Some of them are beautiful and should be followed.
Prayer
The concept of prayer is central to Islam. It emphasizes on the significance of prayer by laying down the five daily prayers, which are geared towards the enrichment of the soul and not simply for asking or seeking benefits from God.
Charity
Islam says that charity leads to selflessness and makes one more helpful to others. It is not meant for show and pomp but to be humble.
Fasting
Islam encourages fasting because it helps in spiritual cleansing apart from the physical restraint that one has to put upon himself in order to observe the fasting.
Pilgrimage
Humanity unites when it reaches to a place that has common objective--sharing the love of God. Islam says pilgrimage is healthy because it brings together people of different races, colors, status and nationalities.
What do you see?
Share your thoughts as what you feel about the concept of Islam and how beautiful it is.

Parenting Tips - 3 unbelievably simple parenting ideas that work

3 unbelievably simple parenting ideas that work

1. Children need a minimum of eight touches during a day to feel connected to a parent.

If they’re going through a particularly challenging time, it’s a minimum of 12 a day. This doesn’t have to be a big deal; it could be the straightening of a collar, a pat on the shoulder or a simple hug.

2. Each day, children need one meaningful eye-to-eye conversation with a parent.

It is especially important for babies to have that eye contact, but children of all ages need us to slow down and look them in the eyes.

3. There are nine minutes during the day that have the greatest impact on a child:

the first three minutes right after they wake up
the three minutes after they come home from school
the last three minutes of the day before they go to bed
We need to make those moments special and help our children feel loved.
These are simple, right? Nothing really earth-shattering here.

But try it.
1⃣ Whenever u feel like scolding or beating your child, take a deep breath, or count 1-10 and then act.
2⃣ Let's ask them to study their favorite subject on their own..
3⃣ Send them to one paper without studying at all..
4⃣ Remember what our kids are learning in 5th std is taught to 7th std abroad..
5⃣ Lets keep our kids out of unwanted competition.
6⃣ 80% of what kids are learning ,won't be useful to them in future..
7⃣ Our kids can really afford to do whatever they want to do in future .
8⃣ Higher degrees don't guaranty success and happiness..
9⃣ Not all the highly educated people do well professionally.
And not all those who do well professionally are the happiest ones..
🔟 Kids are always in a party mood.. don't spoil their childhood. Support and let them be what they want to be.

How to Lose Weight Naturally (22 Home Remedies)

I believe there are only two ways to truly manage weight, through exercising and eating healthy. There simply is no magic shortcut, and while this may seem obvious to some people it is overlooked far, far, too often. Now you’re probably wondering, if diet and exercise are the only ways to lose weight, why did you write this list? Because there are still natural remedies and recipes that will help you reach your ultimate goal. If you use these in addition to eating better and getting some exercise, they can speed up the process. There are many different contributing factors to losing/gaining weight, so the below remedies cover a wide range.

Before you go on you should have a simple understanding of the process your body goes through when dropping the pounds. Fat (along with protein and carbohydrates) is stored energy, plain and simple. Calories are the unit that is used to measure the potential energy in said fats, carbs, and proteins. Your body will convert fat to usable energy through a series of chemical processes, and any excess energy (calories) that you don’t need will be stored away. To lose weight, you must expend more energy (or calories) than you take in. When you are using more than you taking in, your body draws on stored fat to convert it to energy, which makes the fat cells shrink. It doesn’t disappear; it simply changes form, like water to steam. While this is the basic process, you also have to take into account genetic and environmental factors. How well the above process takes place does vary from person to person.

1. Cinnamon Tea

Blood sugar has a direct impact on your weight as it affects how hungry and how energetic you are (if you have energy you’re much more likely to exercise!) If your blood sugar is balanced you are less likely to have a disproportionally large appetite, and your body will be more apt to use fat (energy) rather than storing it. While debate about its effectiveness drags on, more and more preliminary studies are coming out showing that cinnamon can help manage blood sugar levels, so why not whip up a spicy cinnamon tea?

You will need…

-1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
-1 cinnamon stick
-8 ounces of fresh water

Directions

Place the cinnamon in a mug and cover with 8 ounces of boiling water. Steep for 15 minutes before straining. Drinking 1-2 times a day.

2. Green Tea & Ginger

Green tea has long been debated as a weight loss aid, and more research is needed to confirm or deny how well it works. While some studies have turned up nothing, others have identified three main components in green tea that could help manage weight-caffeine, catechins, and theanine. Caffeine is just an overall boost to your system, and speeds up a number of bodily processes, including metabolism related to weight (technically speaking, metabolism refers to any and all biological processes in a living organism needed to sustain life.)

Catechins are considered anti-oxidant flavonoids, and are superior in green tea rather than black tea due to a difference in processing (black tea is fermented.) While the mechanism is yet to be determined, in vitro and in vivo studies have shown that catechins can help lower the absorption of lipids (fats) via the intestinal track. Theanine is an amino acid in green tea that can encourage the release of dopamine, the chemical that makes you “happy” and relaxed. If you tend to eat due to stress, this may be useful. It also counters the caffeine so you don’t get all jittery. The ginger added to green tea will help improve digestion and add a little flavor-no sugar or milk in this tea!

Sushma aur Gita

Union Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj’s pitch to declare the Bhagavad Gita as a “national scripture” is unfortunate . No doubt Gita enjoys pride of place in Hinduism. But as we as indians are a secular democracy, the state has a responsibility to be neutral in matters of faith. It seems instead of development and good governance, Modi's Cabinet Ministers appear to be pandering to right-wing sentiments.

There is no philosophical basis or scientific explanation that the Gita provides solutions to many of our problems. The Minister has shown that she has neither read nor understood the Gita. The word ‘secularism’ came into usage in 1851. India has been a secular country. As a nation founded on the principles of secularism, we have the Constitution as our “national scripture” to guide us on the path to progress and in policy formulation. Ms. Swaraj should adopt a futuristic vision rather than a populistic one, so that we do not deviate from our democratic ideals.

It has become common for senior BJP leaders to come out with some controversial statement or the other that fuels speculation about the secular credentials of the ruling party. The communal situation in India is still quite sensitive and fragile. Any provocative utterance from a person in power would amount to rubbing salt in raw wounds. Let leaders of the BJP and the Sangh Parivar focus on developmental issues.

People of other religions have understood and learnt more about the Gita and what it propounds than Hindus have. For example, former President Abdul Kalam would usually quote the Gita during his meetings and lectures to highlight the importance of moral values and virtues. Similarly, there are many Hindu religious discourse-givers who often cite the Koran and the Bible. In a multicultural society, forcing one’s predilections will meet with resistance and opposition. In a secular and multi-faith country, what Victor Hugo said will keep the social fabric united: “We are for religion against the religions.”

I wonder what BJP MP from Mathura Hema Malini has to say in this issue, may be........
