The changes to the playing conditions for different formats of cricket, which include amendments to Powerplays, DRS, no-balls and bouncers among others, will take effect from October 30, when Sri Lanka play New Zealand in a Twenty20 international in Pallekele.
These recommendations were made by the ICC's Cricket Committee in June, and they were endorsed by its Chief Executives Committee later that month.

Papaya Leaf Juice - Home cure for dengue death sting

It could be a miracle cure for dengue. And the best part is you can make it at home.

The juice of the humble papaya leaf has been seen to arrest the destruction of platelets that has been the cause for so many deaths this dengue season. Ayurveda researchers have found that enzymes in the papaya leaf can fight a host of viral infections, not just dengue, and can help regenerate platelets and white blood cells.

Scores of patients have benefited from the papaya leaf juice, say doctors.

Papaya has always been known to be good for the digestive system. Due to its rich vitamin and mineral content, it is a health freak's favourite. But its dengue -fighting properties have only recently been discovered.

Chymopapin and papin - enzymes in the papaya leaf - help revive platelet count, say experts.

"They have a role in regenerating healthy cells. So, it's perhaps possible to treat platelet fall with them. We need more research in this area," said a researcher at the National Institute for Ayurvedic Drug Development.

The juice has to be prepared from fresh papaya leaves, say the researchers. Devein the leaves and grind the green, pulpy part into a paste. You can also use a mixer.
The paste is very bitter and you would probably have to mix it with fruit juice. Doctors recommend 20-25 ml (about four to five teaspoons), twice a day, for at least a week to get the best results.

Several dengue patients have had a remarkable platelet recovery after taking papaya leaf juice, say family members and doctors.

Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram

B.  Narzary*
Reducing the maternal and infant mortality rate is the key goal feature of the Reproductive and Child Health Programme under the National Rural Health Mission. Several initiatives have been launched by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare under the Mission including Janani Suraksha Yojana, a key intervention that has resulted in phenomenal growth in institutional deliveries with more than one crore women beneficiaries annually. JSY was launched to promote institutional deliveries so that skilled attendance at birth is made available and mothers and new born babies can be saved from pregnancy related complications and deaths.
However, even though institutional delivery has increased significantly, out of pocket expenses being incurred by pregnant women and their families remained high. This has acted as a major barrier for the pregnant women to opt for institutional attendance. They still prefer to deliver at home. Due to this, a large number of sick neonates die on account of poor access to health facilities.
To mitigate the problem, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare launched Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram(JSSK) on 1st June, 2011 to provide better health facilities for pregnant women and sick neonates. The scheme emphasises utmost importance on “Free Entitlements”. The idea is to eliminate out-of-pocket expenses for both pregnant women and sick neonates.
Under this scheme, pregnant women are entitled for free drugs and consumables, free diagnostics, free blood whenever required, and free diet up to 3 days for normal delivery and 7 days for C-section.  This initiative also provides for free transport from home to institution, between facilities in case of a referral and drop back home. Similar entitlements have been put in place for all sick newborns accessing public health institutions for treatment till 30 days after birth. The JSSK initiative is estimated to benefit more than one crore pregnant women & newborns both in urban & rural areas annually.

India has made considerable progress in reduction of Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR), but the pace at which these health indicators are declining needs acceleration. The number of institutional deliveries has increased significantly, after the launch of Janani Suraksha Yojna (JSY) in the year 2005 but many of those who opted for institutional deliveries were not willing to stay for 48 hours, hampering the provision of essential services both to the mother and neonate.  Moreover, the first 48 hours after delivery are critical as complications like haemorrhage, infection, high blood pressure, etc are more likely to develop during this period and unsafe deliveries may result in maternal and infant morbidity or mortality.
Access to mother and child health care service was also hindered by the high out of pocket expenses on user charges for OPD, drugs and consumables, diagnostic tests etc. In some cases such as severe anaemia or haemorrhage requiring blood transfusion can also increase immediate expenses. The same becomes still higher in case caesarean section is done.

So, JSSK has been launched, to ensure that each and every pregnant woman and sick neonates upto one month gets timely access to health care services free of cost and without incurring any out of pocket expenses.

Under JSSK, free institutional delivery services (including caesarean operation) are provided in government health facilities. Medicines including supplements such as Iron Folic Acid are to be given free of cost to pregnant women. Further, pregnant women are entitled to both essential and desirable investigations like blood, urine tests and Ultra-Sonography etc. Furthermore, they are to be provided with free diet during their stay in the health institutions (up to three days for normal delivery & seven days for caesarean section). Not only this, there is a provision of free blood transfusion if the need arises. A significant number of maternal and neonatal deaths can be saved by providing timely referral transport facility to the pregnant women. Pregnant women are entitled to free transport from home to health centre, referral to higher facility in case of need and drop back from the facility to home. Besides, under JSSK there is exemption from all kinds of user charges including OPD fees and admission charges.

Free treatment is also provided to the sick new born upto thirty days after birth and all drugs and consumables required are provided free of cost. As in the case of the mother, the new born too is provided with free diagnostic services and there is a provision of free blood transfusion if the need arises. The facility of free transport from home to health institutions and back is also available.
In brief, institutional deliveries are a key determinant of maternal mortality and quality provision of ante-natal and post-natal services can reduce infant as well as maternal mortality. Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram supplements the cash assistance given to a pregnant woman under Janani Suraksha Yojana and is aimed at mitigating the burden of out of pocket expenses incurred by pregnant women and sick newborns. Besides it would be a major factor in enhancing access to public health institutions and help bring down the Maternal Mortality ratio and Infant mortality rates.
The launch of the Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram will encourage all pregnant women to deliver at public health places and fulfil the commitment of achieving cent percent institutional delivery. It will also empower service providers working at the health facilities in providing quality ante-natal, intra-natal and post-natal services at the institutions. Providing free treatment to sick neonates will help in decreasing the neonatal mortality rate. This initiative will help in reducing both maternal and infant mortality and morbidity.

Because the waiting period Genetics Specialists Jewish Women Muslim to Islam

A geneticist Robert Guilhem declare their Islam after stunned amazed by the verses of the Quran that talk about iddah (waiting period) Muslim women who divorced her husband as arranged Islam.
Guilhem, dedicated experts in research prints age male partner has recently proved
the track record in his research that a man will be lost after three months.

Medical anatomy professor at the National Centre of Egypt and medical consultant, Dr. As-Sayyid Abdul Basith asserts that expert Robert Gelhem, in the presence of Jewish leaders in Einstain Albert's College and geneticists declared himself converted to Islam when he learned the nature of empirical scientific miracles of the Qur'an and the causes determining iddah (waiting period) of women who divorced her husband with the 3 months.
He added, Guilhem expert is sure the scientific evidence. The evidence was concluded that the relationship of husband and wife intercourse will cause men to leave fingerprints (track record), particularly in women. If couples do not do this every month intercourse then prints it will slowly disappear between 25-30 per cent. After three months passed, then fake it will be lost in its entirety. While scientific research in a village in the United proved that pregnant women who have trail prints some men two to three. This means that non-Muslim women there to have sex other than a legal marriage.
That startled the experts of this is when he conducted scientific research on her own. Because he found his wife had three record prints of men cheating on his wife alias. From his research, only one out of three children have come from him. Once the studies are done finally convinced the expert Guilhem embraced Islam. He believes that only Islam that keep women's dignity and preserve the integrity of social life. He believes that the Muslim woman is the woman of the cleanest in the world.

♥ A BEAUTIFUL WOMEN WHO WANTED TO GET MARRIED TO PIOUS MAN ♥

There was this beautiful woman, who wanted to get married, but she wanted a very pious husband, so she said that she’ll marry the man who recites the whole Qur'an every single day, fasts for the whole year and stays awake and worships Allah all throughout the night….

She was a very beautiful woman, and a lot of suitors wanted to marry her, but they knew they couldn’t fulfill the conditions she set. Until this one man stepped forward and said he could fulfill them. So the Imam got both of them married.

After the first night of the marriage, the wife sees that the husband doesn’t recite the whole of the Qur'an, nor does he fast, nor does he stay awake in the worship of Allah, she decided to let it roll on for a few weeks to see if there were any changes, there weren’t, so she filed a complaint and asked for a divorce.

They are both taken in front of the judge, and the judge asked, ‘What were the conditions of the marriage?’ the man replied ‘They were for me to recite the whole Qur'an daily, keep fast for the whole year and to worship Allah all throughout the night.’

The Judge asked, ‘ did you fulfill them? The man calmly answered, ‘…yes.’

The judge answers, ‘you lie, your wife has said that you don’t, that’s why she’s asking for a divorce’.

But the man insisted that he had fulfilled the conditions, so the judge asked, ‘did you recite the full Qur'an everyday?’

The man answered yes.

The Judge, baffled asked, ‘how? How can you do that?’

The man coolly answered, ‘I recite Surah Ikhlas three times a day and according to Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم), reciting Surah Ikhlas three times is equivalent to reciting the whole Qur'an.’

The Judge was intrigued, so he asked, ‘how did you fast the whole year?’

The man answered, ‘ I fasted for the whole month of Ramadan, then kept another six fasts in the month of Shawwal, according to Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم), keeping all of the fast of Ramadan then keeping six fasts in the month of Shawwal, is as if you have fasted for the whole year.’

The Judge remained silent, he couldn’t give a reply saying the man was wrong, so finally he asked, ‘ how did you stay awake all night and worship Allah, when your wife saw you sleeping?’

The Judge thought the man wouldn’t be able to answer this one, but the man, cool as a cucumber answered,

‘I prayed Salatul Isha with jamat, then the next day prayed Salatul Fajr with jamat, according to Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم), the one who prays Salatul Isha and Salatul Fajr with jamat, it is as if he had stayed up all night worshiping Allah.’

The Judge sat there looking at the man; the final verdict was about to be released…He said to the man and his wife, ‘…go, just go, there is nothing wrong with this marriage’… Allahu Akbar

How beautiful is our deen, how merciful is Allah…Subhan’Allah!

The Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “A servant of God will remain standing on the Day of Judgment until he is questioned about his (time on earth) and how he used it; about his knowledge and how he utilized it; about his wealth and from where he acquired it and in what (activities) he spent it; and about his body and how he used it.” – Tirmidhi, Hadith 148

Why do traders fail in trading?

log in
So why do traders fail?
Without Education and an Understanding of The Psychology of The Market Your Chances of Profitable Trading are Profoundly Limited! While the trading instruments that make up the market have no emotions, the individuals that trade those instruments are human beings and are very emotional by nature. Realizing that the human emotions of fear and greed often drive prices up and down, allows one to begin to understand how to position oneself on the right side of the market. Because humans are very emotional, they often make rash decisions that end up being the wrong decision.Every day there’s huge struggle being waged in the markets. A struggle between the bulls (buyers) and the bears (sellers)… Bears want to get top dollars for their equity, while the bulls want to pay as little as possible. In order for a transaction to be completed, one has to give into the other’s terms. If a greedy bull gives into a seller’s terms because he feels he just has to own XYZ stock, the price goes up. If an eager bear gives into a buyer’s terms, the price goes down. This is nothing new. It’s basic economics. It’s supply and demand.Because both buyers and sellers are, more often than not, basing their buying and selling decisions on emotions, eventually these emotions will culminate and a trend will reverse. For example, when a stock is in an uptrend, there will be a point when the trend will become apparent to everyone.

At this point there will often be one last buying frenzy as greed takes over in fear of missing the boat. It is precisely at this point that the trend will often reverse. The same is true of a downtrend. Before a stock hits bottom, there usually is a panic-kind-of-selling as fear takes over and the weak run for cover. Once all the weak have thrown in the towel, the stock is free to rise again. This behavior can be observed time and time again.Often a stock doesn’t just drop because everyone starts selling. It begins to drop because everyone stops buying, at which point the price has to come down to entice more buyers. As the price begins to decline, the selling begins to pick up, forcing the price even lower. It isn’t until all the sellers are flushed out of the market that the selling stops. Now the demand for the stock becomes greater causing it to rise again and attracting more and more buyers. If you have ever looked at a significant market bottom like the one after September 11, 2001 (9/11), you will notice that the selling pressure increased significantly due to the emotional insecurity of what might happen next. Once the selling became exhausted, prices stabilized and the crowd began to buy the market in droves.

Getting a Grip On Emotions
As individuals we have to realize and accept that we have no control and influence over the market nor the direction it is taking. And thus, there are two crucial emotions that come into play and that we have to be aware of. Fear and Greed!
Fear:
The problem is that we all want to succeed and when we do make a loss, it is easy to let those losses effect us emotionally out of fear to lose even more.In this case, a trader exits a trade as soon as the market hits the slightest bump even though the broad market is very bullish and the fundamentals of the company he’s trading are good. So instead of being patient and waiting for the trade to go up again, he sells and accepts the initial loss out of fear of losing even more.Fear of losses can also show up in the following way.Irrespective of any rationality, a trader holds on to a losing position for too long hoping for it to go up again. Even when the news and fundamentals are hopeless he won’t give up forgetting that this attitude can easily lead to a total loss.In another case, fear can also manifest itself in not wanting to miss the boat and quickly jumping on. This can very often be observed by novices who listen to tips from friends and TV, where so called “experts” or shall I rather say, “opinion makers” speak up trying to sweet-talk you into a trade.A trader sees the market go up rapidly and confirmation is all over the news. The excitement of a rising market is in full swing. Afraid of missing out, the trader makes a hasty decision and dives right into a trade.

Greed:
Becoming euphoric when you hit a winning trade is almost as detrimental as becoming depressed when you have a losing trade. In this case a trader is actually afraid of losing a profit. He holds on to a winning position for too long. His trade is doing so well that he just can’t get enough. He may have made a 100% profit and now expects to make another 100%. And when his position goes down below this magic mark, he still holds on hoping for his trade to go back to 100% again before he sells instead of accepting say, 90%, which is darn good too!But what was a 100% profit can easily become a total loss if you let greed take control!I’ve seen traders that have watched their profits erode without doing anything about it. They held on to their positions right up to an almost total loss. Very often they then say: “Oh well. my trade has gone down so much now, what’s the use of selling? I won’t get much out of it now anyway, so I might as well keep my position”. Well, I guess in a way he’s right because by this time his stocks may have more value being used as wall-paper.

In another case, fear of losing out on a profit may even cause a trader to sell a winning trade too soon. As soon as his position went up a few percent, he bails out.So watch out for fear and greed. These two guys aren’t good advisers and they’re not the way to trade! And so… As traders we have to be rather impartial. We have to accept that there will be losses just as there will be wins in any one’s trading career!Reaching the stage where you can comfortably accept losses, and knowing that you have a good trading system that will also produce profits most times in the longer term is the state we all have to aspire to.

Why Follow an Imam?

The question that arises here is that why then should one follow any of the four Imaams? This can be answered by posing a counter-question: "Do you know all the various laws of Deen? Are you capable of extracting and deriving the laws pertaining to wudhu, salaah, zakaah, etc. directly from the Qur'an and Hadith? Do you know which Hadith has abrogated another? Do you have the ability to reconcile between the various Ahadith which apparently contradict each other? Do you know which verses of the Qur'an are general in their application and which verses are qualified by other texts? etc., etc." If one does not have the knowledge of these aspects, then one definitely does not have the ability to derive the laws directly from the Qur'an and Hadith. In that case the following

aayah applies directly to oneself: "Ask those of knowledge if you do not know." (43:7) Hence when we do not have the enormous amount of knowledge and expertise that is necessary to derive the laws directly from the Qur'an and Hadith, we have opted to follow one of those great people who had attained that distinguished mastery in this field, among whom is Imaam Abu Hanifa (R.A.). Imaam Abu Hanifa (R.A.) is a Taabi'i (one who has seen a Sahabi). He attained the knowledge of Hadith from approximately 4000 ustaads. His piety was such that for 40 years he performed fajr salaah with the wudhu of Isha salaah (i.e. he did not sleep the entire night) [Tareekhul Baghdad]. His knowledge, brilliance and righteousness was such that all the great scholars of his time attested to his mastery. Thus one can be well assured that such a person is absolutely capable of deriving the laws directly from the Qur'an and Hadith.

Another reason for adopting one of the Imaams as a guide is the following aayah of the Qur'an: Allah Ta'ala says: "And follow the path of those who turn to me" (31:15). In order to "turn" to Allah Ta'ala, two aspects are basic requisites — knowledge and practicing according to that knowledge. In this regard the four Imaams were in an extremely high category. Imaam Abu Hanifa (R.A.) was regarded by various Ulama of his time as being the most knowledgeable of the people of that era (footnotes of Tahzeebut Tahzeeb vol. 1 pg. 451). Makki bin Ibrahim, who was one of the renown ustaads of Imaam Bukhari (R.A.), was a student of Imaam Abu Hanifa (R.A.). Imaam Abu Hanifa (R.A.) compiled a book of Hadith entitled "Kitaabul Aathaar" from among 40,000 Ahadith. Thus those who follow such a guide can be satisfied that they are strictly following the commands of Allah Ta'ala and His Rasul (sallallahu alaihi wasallam).

DON'T CHASE THE MARKET.
If you are slow, and miss a day trade that suddenly looks like it would have made you a fortune, do NOT panic and try to jump in late - you will almost certainly be buying the top or selling the bottom. Remember that the market will be there tomorrow, and the day after, and for ever, so ANY trade, no matter how important it looks, can be ignored if necessary. Keeping your powder dry, and being ready for the next one, is more important than hitting every day trading opportunity you see. Many successful day traders only trade for a few hours a day - they miss plenty of action but don't care, because they know the market will be around when they come back.

TAKE A LOSS WHERE NECESSARY :
Knowing when to take a loss is the most important lesson any day trader ever learns. If you keep your losses small, you can come back to fight another day. As long as you control the loss in a calm, professional way, keeping it within the limits you have set for your money management strategy, it is STILL a good trade!

As a trader , losses are part of our business.
You can’t avoid them . However , there’s a huge difference between losing big on a regular basis and losing small in controlled trading plan . If u can’t accept that fact , you simply shouldn't trade. If you need to succeed with trading , then you MUST invest both time and money to acquire the knowledge that you need , the discipline to follow your trading strategy and the patience to wait for the “ Perfect Trade “

In order to be a successful day trader, you need to have the right tools, choose the right markets, and trade the right trading systems. However, it is just as important to have the right psychological and emotional outlook. Without the right psychology, your emotions will have a big impact on your trading, and may even prevent you from trading at all. The two main emotions that day traders experience are fear and greed, and while you will probably not be able to remove these emotions completely, you will need to manage them.

Your past, no matter how bad, can be deleted by sincere repentance between you and your Maker. Turn a new leaf today.
As much as we must not delay to resolve matters between us, sadly at times we have no choice but to leave it for the Day of Reckoning.
Time ticks, never to return. A minute wasted is gone forever. There is no room for laziness in this life. Make the most of every moment.

Children are a gift entrusted to us by the Almighty. The way we communicate with them can shape the way they face the future.
"Smile before it is too late! Rather show your teeth now than realise their value only after you have dentures!"
It will still be a good deed! lol
Belief in predestiny & the overriding power of the Almighty saves us from depression when we suffer loss or arrogance when we achieve much.

This made me shiver.

"The pious used to hide their good deeds just like we hide our sins!"
Some people look so happy yet they are going through great trials in life whilst others look so miserable without any difficulties. Why?
The burden of a sin out lives it's temporary pleasure, making it not worthwhile at all. May the Almighty safeguard us all. Aameen

Having a genuine and sincere friend is like having hard currency during an economic crisis. Very valuable yet very rare.

Those who want to live a life of luxury even though they know that they cannot afford it have none other than themselves to blame when their life is torn apart!

We should never be shy or hesitate to downgrade our entire lifestyle when our earnings have been affected.

Husbands become stressed, wives complain, children develop bad habits ultimately disintegrating the once cosy home, solely because we chose to live a fake life to display to others that we have what we cannot really even afford!

Making a habit of being in a rush is not good.

We must try to manage our time correctly.

Plan the day in such a way that each item on the "to do" list is allocated enough time for us to accomplish without pressure for time.

Once in a while the situation may require us to make haste but this should never be habitual.

Rushing can cause accidents, compromise quality and even result in regret! Be calm!

"A true believer is neither vulgar nor immoral when he speaks". Prophet Muhammad pbuh

Many of us use words that we are prohibited from using, and get so used to using such language that we don't even realise what we are uttering.

Using such words is sinful even if we are joking, and it results in the loss of blessings in our lives, the discomfort to the angels of protection who distance themselves from us, losing respect among fellow human beings and setting a very bad precedent in our families and societies.

It also diminishes our spirituality and strengthens the link with Satan. It has a great negative effect on our minds and overall temperament.

For this and many other reasons, we must never ever utter vulgar or immoral words.
Speaking using the best and purest language will create a blessed look on our faces to begin with and result in us being respected and blessed at the same time.

Our general lives will begin to improve and we will see this clearly and feel it truly.

Are we ready to promise the Creator that we will improve on this immediately?

In the same way that when traveling we ensure that our baggage does not exceed the airline weight limitation because of the fear of being penalized, we should also ensure that we do not carry excess baggage into the Hereafter. \

The correct weight is achieved through prayer, forgiving others, letting go of sin & other negative issues that we have held onto far too long, cleansing our hearts from jealousy, envy, hatred & evil thoughts, choosing the correct friends, assisting others, improving our character & abstaining from foul language & oppression.

It is important to do a weight check before arriving at the ultimate “scale of justice”.

What don't we have?
A roof above our heads, a plate of food, something to clothe ourselves with, a shoe to protect our feet, water to drink, body parts & general health, a school to go to, transport when needed even if it means public transport etc and the list is endless.

In fact we have all this & much more but sadly most of us tend to look at the few things we don't have & become so depressed & despondent. Is that fair?

We MUST face challenges in life & tests yet many are not prepared to be put through a single test without making it the biggest issue about it. Most complaints are actually connected to luxuries & not necessities.

May the Almighty assist those who are going through trying times. Aameen

When are you going to have children? Whilst some may not mind, that question & other similar questions can be very embarrassing & at times rather hurtful too.

The stress of those who cannot have children even though they would love to is increased by such unnecessary questions which make it seem like they have chosen not to have children yet they have no say in the matter.

It is our duty to be sensitive about such issues & not just take it for granted.

Questioning about the details of the lives of others is a VERY bad habit that leads to full blown gossip. Let us develop a policy of staying away from whatever is "none of our business".

How many of us have come across non-Muslims who are more honest, polite, helpful & compassionate than Muslims?

It is sickening to hear how many Muslims are dishonest in dealings, vulgar, abusive & really unpleasant to be around.

To the extent that many people complain of some hiding behind their outward religious appearance to get away with some of the worst habits.

If practising Islam correctly is in itself the most powerful invitation to this amazing way of life, then not practising it might be a great deterrent.

I for one, promise to make an effort to improve myself with the help of the Almighty.

Those in positions of authority of any kind should fulfill their duties bearing in mind that the Almighty is watching.

Abuse of position in any way is unacceptable and will not be let off lightly. If we cannot deliver the goods we should hand over to those more capable without delay.

Many people have a habit of laying the blame of failure upon others when they are the ones responsible.

Many people also love to take up positions of authority for the prestige, to beautify their CVs, to add a feather to their cap knowing very well that they are incapable to achieve anything meaningful.

Such dishonesty and selfish behavior can result in great loss to generations. It can also result in the failure or closure of businesses, schools, organisations, the disintegration of families and communities etc.

Let us work hard to fulfill our responsibilities honestly.

Each time I travel, I learn so much by meeting people of diverse nationalities, cultures, religious backgrounds, thoughts and ideas.

It's amazing how travelling can make us wiser, allowing us to understand others better and appreciate their goodness, where they have excelled over us and the common factors between us whilst learning from the few differences we may have.

It also makes me realise how petty we sometimes are in our own little circles whilst the huge globe has no time for that.

Sad how you are a good person until you correct someone. Then you are officially a bad person in their eyes.

Each person has a good side. Take the good of others, not the bad.

If reaching out to the distressed is so rewarding, imagine the sin of causing the distress. Help others, don't harm them.

  • Some people have no constructive contribution to humanity so they choose to be destructive, spreading hatred, chaos & confusion.

  • As the celebration of the great sacrifice draws near, are we prepared to sacrifice the animal within us, bad habits, laziness etc?
