Corona strikes Bihar wedding, bridegroom dies, 100 infected

A wedding ceremony in Patna where the groom was running high fever and two days later he died, appears to have set off the biggest #Covid19 infection chain in #Bihar. The groom had died two days after his wedding, however, cause of his death is not known. A total of 369 persons took part in the wedding event, officials still tracing the people who attended the ceremony.

There are mixed reports about how many people tested positive for COVID-19 after the wedding. But., accoorcding to Dr Ajit Kumar of Paliganj govt hospital 79 people have tested positive for #COVID19 in Paliganj. Most of the cases are related to a wedding ceremony held on 15th June.
