Nefarious attempt of communal forces to misguide Muslims

This blog is the news Item of the Siasat Daily - Hyderabad, Published in their website on

Source File :

A large number of people from Rajasthan UP, Bihar and especially Gujarat are heading towards Hyderabad to run their businesses her. The ratio is increasing on an alarming rate; new festivals and processions are coming up in the city because of these non local people only.

Our correspondent saw a calendar hanging on the wall of various shops at Begum Bazaar, mostly owned by Gujaratis. Surprisingly the calendar has a photo of a famous swami named ‘Asaram Babu’; more surprisingly the picture shows some Muslim men sitting in front of the swami with great respect. When enquired about the swami the shop owner said that ‘he is bhagwan. No one returns empty handed from him and your Muslims also come to him.’

In another such painful example a barber near Masjid Miyan Mashak has shut down his business and has become faith healer. Actually his father was a bonal and used to become ‘potraj’ on every bonal festival. This barber and his son do faith healing and unfortunately Muslims too arrive at his shop located at a footpath. He gives his clients, a thread and some lemons, besides this he cuts a lock of his client’s hair and tells that he would ward off all the problems by doing a particular puja on that, for which he collects 1100 rupees.

Another person named Chandu heals young children by giving bath to them. He charges 30 to 50 rupees for giving each ‘healing bath’ to the children.

Another swami has set up his faith healing business near Himayat Sagar. People go to him to promote their businesses.

Readers! the sad part of the story that there is a considerable number of Muslims who go to such fake babas for cure. When the notorious witch craft Nagin Bhabi was arrested last week and a large number of locals staged dharna for giving strict punishment to her. A chief officer asked them ‘why don’t you stop people going to her?’

He was right! We should inform Muslims, what is right and what is wrong. Every person in the world faces adversities, they are tests from Almighty Allah and He is the Only One who listens to prayers.

Anger Management : transform poison into honey

Learn to transform your poison into honey. There is a simple process. In fact, to call it transformation is not right, because you don’t do anything; you only need patience. This is one of the greatest secrets I am telling you. Try it: when anger comes, you must not to do anything; just sit silently and watch it. Don’t be against it, don’t be for it. Don’t cooperate with it, don’t repress it. Let it rise.
Just give it a little time and wait... and you will be surprised. If you can wait enough, anger itself becomes compassion. It is a wheel; it is moving on its own — you are in a hurry. Just as night becomes day if you can wait a little, in the same way, anger becomes compassion if you can wait a little. The same energy — just patience has to be added to it, nothing else. Remember one thing: never do anything in the mood when the poison possesses you; just wait.
Negativity provokes more negativity, anger brings more anger, hostility brings more hostility, and things go on and on and on...and people have been estranged with each other for ages. And they continue!
Time To Meditate
Wait. When you are angry, this is the moment to meditate. Don’t waste this moment when anger is creating such great energy in you — it can destroy. But energy is neutral — the same energy that can destroy, can also be creative. The same energy that can shatter, can shower life — just wait. Waiting and not doing anything in a hurry, one day you will be surprised, seeing the inner change. You were full of anger, and then anger goes on and on and comes to a climax... and then the wheel turns. And you can see the wheel is turning, and the anger is relaxing, and energy is released, and now you are in a positive mood — the creative mood. Now you can do something.
Wait And Watch
Always wait for the positive. I am not saying to repress the negative. I am saying watch the negative. Remember the difference. I am not saying sit on top of the negative, forget the negative, do something against it — no. I am not saying when you are angry, smile — no; that smile is false, ugly, phoney. Don’t smile when you are angry. Close the room, keep a mirror in front of you, see your angry face yourself. There is no need to show it to anybody else. It is your business, it is your energy, it is your life, and you have to wait for the right moment. Go on looking in the mirror: see the red face, the red eyes, the murderer there.
Have you ever thought that everybody carries a murderer inside? You also carry a murderer inside. Don’t think that the murderer exists somewhere else — somebody else is a murderer who commits a murder — no: everybody has the possibility to commit a murder. You carry the suicidal instinct in you.
Know Yourself
Just look in the mirror: these are your climates — you have to be acquainted with them. This is part of the growth towards self-knowledge. You will see that anger cannot be there forever. If you don’t do anything, what is going to happen? Can anger hang there forever and forever? Nothing hangs there forever. Happiness comes and goes, unhappiness comes and goes.
Can’t you see a simple law? — that everything changes, nothing remains permanent. So, why be in a hurry? Anger has come — it will be going. You just wait, have a little patience. Just look in the mirror and wait. Let anger be there, let your face go ugly and murderous — but wait, watch.
Don’t repress and don’t act according to the anger, and soon you will see that the face is becoming softer, the eyes are becoming calmer, the energy is changing — and soon you will be full of radiance. The same redness that was anger, now is a certain radiance — a beauty on your face, in your eyes.

When it grips you, meditate, be creative,

The Best Ways to Get Rid of Scars

Scar tissue is nature's repair work, but the cells that replace the damaged ones are more fibrous, denser and sometimes less flexible due to limited blood supply. Scars also may be a different color than the surrounding skin, usually paler but sometimes pinkish or dark. Although you can minimize the visibility of a scar, especially if you act soon after the injury, it is unlikely that you can make it disappear entirely.

Aloe Vera
Apply aloe vera gel to a wound while it is still healing to help prevent or minimize scarring. The Scar Help Center recommends massaging the wound area for 5 to 10 minutes after applying the gel to help it penetrate and to smooth the skin tissue. Repeat two to three times per day. Aloe vera works best on healing wounds and new scars; it's less effective on older scars.
Honey
Honey has antiseptic and antibacterial properties that can help wounds heal better and thus minimize the formation of scar tissue. Apply honey directly to the wound several times a day and leave it on the wound overnight. Cover with a gauze bandage to prevent the honey from rubbing off. You also can apply honey to a scar left after a wound has healed. An added bonus: honey leaves skin glowing naturally.
Lemon Juice
Lemon juice is a natural bleach. It diminishes the appearance of scars that have dark or pink discoloration. Apply the juice directly to the scar, then massage for 5 to 10 minutes and rinse off. For acne scars, mix a few drops of lemon juice with 1 tbsp. of yogurt and 1 tbsp. of oatmeal, then apply to the face. Let it set for 10 minutes before rinsing. Repeat several times a day for maximum impact.
Sandalwood
Highly valued for its fragrance, sandalwood also has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. To treat scars, soak sandalwood in water overnight, which will produce a paste that you can apply directly to the scar. Allow the paste to dry, and then rinse it off with cool water. You may be tempted to take a shortcut and use sandalwood essential oil, but be cautious because applying undiluted sandalwood oil directly to the skin can cause burns.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E helps skin regenerate. To treat scars topically, pierce the gel coating of a vitamin E capsule with a clean pin or sharp knife. Apply the oil two to three times a day, and massage the tissue to help it grow smoothly. You also can mix it with aloe vera gel to improve effectiveness. The Scar Help Center cautions against using vitamin E on a wound that is still healing because it can hinder proper wound repair.
Cucumbers
Cucumbers contain alkaloids, which help regulate new skin cell production. Apply cucumber extract or cucumber juice to the scar tissue and leave it on for 15 minutes, and then rinse with cool water. Cucumber treatments sometimes will diminish the appearance of scars within a week.

All India Milli Council demands CBI probe in Qateel Siddiqui murder

Source DNA. Agency : PTI
Describing the government's response to the murder of Indian Mujahideen operative in Yerwada jail as "woefully inadequate", a prominent Muslim body today demanded a CBI investigation into the matter.

The All India Milli Council (AIMC) said the CBI must not investigate only the alleged killers and the prison officials but should also reveal "wider conspiracy" behind the murder of Qateel Siddiui.

Dr Mohd Manzoor Alam,
en.Secy All India Milli Council,

The AIMC also alleged that the Centre has taken "entirely untenable stand' in case of Fasih Mahmood, who is alleged to be involved in terrorist activities and presently in the custody of Saudi Arabia.
"The investigation of murder of Siddiqui must be handed over immediately to CBI. The CBI must complete investigation in a time-bound manner," Dr Mohd Manzoor Alam, Chairman of All India Milli Council, told reporters.

"There is an effort to make abnormal look normal. It seems all government offices have gone to sleep. If government cannot ensure safety of an inmate in jail, how can ordinary citizens breathe in an air of security," Ravi Nair of the South Asia Human Rights Documentation Centre said.

Terming Unlawful activities Prevention Act(UAPA) as a "black law", Alam demanded that it be repealed.

In a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh earlier, Alam said, "It is an extrajudicial killing by state authority. This is how it stands: the police-intelligence personnel took him under their custody. It was their duty to ensure his protection."

The council also demanded details of the disappearance of Fasih Mahmood from Al Jubail in Saudi Arabia.

All India Milli Council writes to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh

All India Milli Council has written to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, UPA chairperson Mrs Soinia Gandhi and Union Home Minister Mr P Chidambaram seeking a CBI enquiry into the custodial killing of terror accused Mohammad Qateel Siddiqui, immediate announcement of ex-gratia payment, followed by full compensation and stern punishment to the guilty. The group also demanded institutional changes in policing and prison to control the criminality of state institutions.

The Council expressed concern on the rise in hostility by security agencies towards Muslims. Only two weeks back two Kashmiri students of Jamiatul Falah were picked from Kaifiyat Express at Aligarh Railway station. They were produced only after much pressure from media, Muslim organizations and intervention of Allahabad High Court.

Bihar engineer Fasih Mahmood was picked from his home in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia on 13th of May allegedly on the request of Indian government, but his whereabouts is still unknown.

“The Muslim community all over the country is feeling as if it is living under RSS rule at the Centre, not UPA’s. Such feeling is only natural as all the torture, illegal arrests and disappearances – carried out mostly in the two Cong-ruled states of Rajasthan and Maharashtra – have the blessings of central agencies,” said Dr. Manzoor Alam, General Secretary, All India Milli Council in the letter. “Today we are shocked to learn that Mohammad Qateel Siddiqui has been throttled to death in Pune’s Yerawada Central Jail. The official explanation, which nobody believes, is that he was killed by prisoners. That is it,” he said.

The dead body of Mohammad Qateel Siddiqui reached Patna Airport from Mumbai at 3:45 pm on 10th June 2012
“This is a clear case of a death in official custody, an extrajudicial killing by state authority. This is how it stands: the police-intelligence personnel took him under their custody. It was their duty to ensure his protection, and they represented the state. Technically, he was under judicial custody, judiciary being a powerful arm of the state…Now, instead of protecting him they conspire to kill him. Either the superintendent, the jailer, the deputy and assistant jailers and wardens themselves killed him and passed the blame on to voiceless prisoners (which is more likely) or instigated some of the violent prisoners to kill him. In both cases, the state is entirely responsible for this death. This is particularly so because the murder took place inside a high security prision, where such acts cannot occur without the complicity of authorities.”

“Instigating prisoners to attack other prisoners is an old tactic of state authorities. At the time of massacre of 45 Muslims from Hashimpura by PAC in 1987, they took some others to Pratapgarh jail where they instigated prisoners to kill them. Five were lynched immediately. Muslims have been mourning those killed in Hashimpura (under Congress rule at Centre and in UP) on the 25th anniversary of the massacre at the hands of the state. This new incident shows that the state’s criminality and lawlessness has not changed in the last quarter century.”

“…it is the duty of the state to protect people in its custody. It has failed to do its duty. In fact, such killing has become a pattern. Nobody can be killed without due process of law, without a fair trial. This is a great breach of law.”

Qateel was killed in Yerwada central jail in Pune on 8th June allegedly by two inmates. He belonged to Barh Samaila village in Darbhanga from where around one dozen youths have been picked in last six months in various terror cases. Qateel was first to be arreted in November 2011. Even seven months after the arrest, he was not yet charge sheeted but was being moved from one state to another. He was arrested by Delhi Police for his alleged involvement in Jama Masjid shootout case. Then he was taken to Karnataka and the local police made him accused fro Chinnaswamy stadium blast case of 2010 and now he was in Maharashtra where he was being charged for a failed bid to execute blast at a temple.

“The community would like to hear from the highest quarters what is being done about it. We believe that somebody does not become a terrorist just because he has been accused of being one. Unless, following due process of law, a court does not convict him as a terrorist, he is innocent.”

“This murder is that of an innocent youth under any law, anywhere. Although this has become a recurring pattern, we would expect a CBI enquiry besides an immediate announcement of ex-gratia payment, followed by full compensation and stern punishment to the guilty. We reiterate our demand for institutional changes in policing and prison to control the criminality of state institutions,” Dr. Alam said.

Twitter's bird logo gets a makeover

Twitter's bird logo gets a makeover

As of Wednesday, Twitter is replacing its old bird logo (and lower-case

Twitter is giving users the bird. A cute, little, upwardly mobile bird.

The social-networking company wants to be universally known by a new streamlined bird logo, replacing the scruffier bird that had symbolized Twitter since ... well, way back in 2010.

Homosexuality - An Islamic Perspective

The practice of homosexuality is becoming rampant. Most of the European and American countries have legalized it under their courts of law. India has recently legalized homosexuality by passing legislation (article 377) in the Indian Constitution. As a result this year we found valentine accessories exclusively for gays and lesbians which were sold well in advance.

If we go down to analyze the text of most of the major religions they do not carry any explicit texts in favour of this heinous act. The religion of Islam is sterner on this evil. “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘Whoever you find doing the deed of the people of Loot , kill the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.” Tirmidhi 1456 classed as shaheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani.

The people of Prophet Loot AS where the ones who started this dishonorable act. The era of Prophet Loot AS was during the era of Prophet Ibrahim AS (the father of all prophets). The Prophet Loot AS said to his people, “You commit such a disgrace; no one in the world has done it before!”You practice sex with the men, instead of the women. Indeed, you are a transgressing people.” His people responded by saying, “Evict them from your town. They are people who wish to be pure.” “Consequently, we saved him and his family, but not his wife; she was with the doomed”. “We showered them with a certain shower; note the consequences for the guilty” [Al-Araf 7:80 to 7:84].

Humans are not homosexuals by nature. People become homosexuals because of their actions, irresponsible attitude, and the culture of free will (human rights in its worst form)! Advocates of homosexuality equate it to be natural and see no harm in its practice. We all know for the fact that one who goes against nature is sure to be ruined. Justifications such as hormonal imbalance, etc cannot be basis for it to be acceptable. Sin is a sin no matter what. Allah SWT created us as a free agent and has provided consciousness to differentiate between right and wrong. We come across two paths in our journey of life. One is good which leads to the unlimited bounties of heaven and the other is bad which leads to the permanent dwelling of hell. It is on the individual to choose which ever way he wants. But on the other hand it is the common ploy of the Satan (sworn enemy) to convince people that sin is a way of life. But Allah SWT says that little can the Satan inflict his evil on His sincere followers. Allah SWT says to Satan; “You have no power over My sincere believers. You only have power over the ones who are astray” [Al-Hijr 15:42].

Prophet Muhammed PBUH used to fear a lot about his ummah getting involved into the act of sodomy. It was narrated by Jaabir (may Allah be pleased with him): “The Prophet PBUH said: ‘There is nothing I fear for my ummah more than the deed of the people of Loot.” Tirmidhi 1457 classed saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani. In another tradition it was narrated that Ibn Abbaas said: “The Prophet Muhammed PBUH said: “… cursed is the one who has intercourse with an animal, cursed is the one who does the action of the people of Loot [Ahmed 1878 classed as shaheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani].

One narrative, attributed as part of Prophet Muhammad’s farewell speech, says, “Whoever has intercourse with a woman and penetrates her rectum, or with a man, or with a boy, will appear on the Last Day stinking worse than a corpse; people will find him unbearable until he enters hell fire, and Allah SWT will cancel all his good deeds.”

To prevent the ummah from this disgraced sin the Prophet PBUH said, “No man should look at the private parts of another man, and no woman should look at the private parts of another woman, and no two men sleep [in bed] under one cover.”

Prophet PBUH again said “Lesbianism by women is adultery between them.” (Tabarani, sahih)

It is the duty of us as Muslims to state unequivocally and unambiguously that homosexuality is a deviant behavior and that there is not even an iota of doubt that Islam condemns this shameful act.

Before concluding let us all pray together that the lord of the heavens keep all of us away from all misdeeds in particular homosexuality leading to hell, instill in us good qualities from which Allah SWT himself is pleased with, grant us and our children high ranks in Jannah. Aameen.

Sign the petition demanding to Produce Fasih Mehmood in an Indian court

Saudi authorities are saying he is to be deported, families fear that he is the latest in the series of terror-arrests from Darbhanga. Weeks after his arrest in Saudi Arabia, Indian authorities are yet to reveal his whereabouts.

Fasih Mehmood.
The Hindu reported on 16th May 2012: Fasih Mahmood, an engineer living at Dammam in Saudi Arabia, arrested in that country on “terror-related charges,” has reportedly been deported to India.
Even though authorities here haven't confirmed his arrest and deportation, Mahmood's family is apprehensive that he may have been arrested in connection with terror charges, as he hails from the village of Barasmela in Darbhanga, from where Mohammed Kafeel Akthar was picked up by the Bangalore police on May 6, for his alleged role in the 2010 blasts at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

Inspiring story “CBSC topper 2012 Mohammad Ismat wants to top UPSC too”

Manipuri boy Mohammad Ismat along with his father who scored the highest mark in the All -India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination.

Mohammad Ismat, the Manipuri boy who has topped the all-India CBSE Class XII Board examinations in the science stream, is nurturing a dream to top the Civil Services Examinations, too. At his young age he has learned the power with which one can do good for the people, and serve the nation is in seats where levers of power rest. Bright boys like Ismat when they realize UPSC is door to service this nation, much needed good can be expected.

By way of preparation, he plans to join St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, to do B. Sc. (Honours).

Ismat hails from Lilong Haoreibi in Thoubal district, 15 km from Imphal. The village has very poor electricity supply and no internet connection. Basically the worst side of India of today which boost of growth and taking India in to 21st century as strong nation.

Can our urban children imagine a day with our proper supply of power, or the urban comforts I do not think they can. But adversities did not deter our own Citizen from north east from Manipur, he excelled putting the administration and our failures to shame. He knew how to turn the tide against him in his favor he became the story of inspiration for us Indians.

“I also want to become a topper in the Civil Services Examinations conducted by the UPSC. I want to serve my country for peace and communal harmony. For now, I want to take admission to St. Stephen’s College to do B.Sc. (Honours) in Physics,” he told national print media reporter.

He brought laurels to his school, Zenith Academy in Imphal, where he joined after completing Class X at Sainik School, also in Imphal. “I studied Class IX and X in Sainik School and passed the Class X board examinations with 92.4 per cent. I left Sainik School because of financial constraints,” he said.

Ismat’s mother died when he was only 18 months. His father, Maulana Bashirur Rahman, is a teacher in a primary school. He is the seventh child and only son of the family; six elder sisters are all graduates.

After school hours, Ismat had to study mostly in candlelight, as electricity is available for hardly three-four hours a day in the village. Ismat scored 495 out of 500 marks, securing centum in mathematics, chemistry, fine arts and home science and 98 in English and 97 in physics

When I was child in early sixties my parents and grandma used to tell me how poor deprived children from used to sit below the street lights to study and how they excelled even after so much of hard ship, they had desire to excel they knew with out education their is not place for them in society and good comfortable future. Now when I hear Ismat did not even have a street post to study in its light he had to use a candle to light the light of knowledge in him it inspires.

This is one Mohammed Ismat we are kn owning as he reached the pinnacle at level 12 in CBSE. I am sure their must be lakhs like him who are dreaming to excel and be successful and be strength to the nation and to society.

Just yesterday Manipur government has announced Rs 5 lakh cash incentive for Md Ismat, who topped this year’s CBSE Class XII examination.

Education minister M. Oken Singh at a felicitation ceremony held at Ismat’s school — Zenith Academy at Sangaiprou in Imphal West — today announced the cash incentive that is meant for Ismat’s higher studies.

The education minister also announced a cash incentive of Rs 10 lakh for the infrastructure development of the school which produced a student who aced the all-India examination.
Ismat, who comes from a very poor family, is the first student from the Northeast to achieve such a feat.

At the function, Oken Singh said Ismat had demonstrated that being an outstanding student did not depend on good infrastructure. “The school does not have much infrastructure in comparison to other reputed educational institutions of Manipur. But, Ismat could secure the top position through his own effort and hard work. This should be an example for all students,” he said.

Ismat hails from Lilong Haoreibei Mayai Leikai in Thoubal. Everyday, he travelled 12km from his house to his school by bus. He never attended private tuition and the school offered him a discounted fee, considering his family’s financial condition and bright future.

The minister said it was a moment of pride for Manipur. Oken Singh announced the cash incentive for the school after Manaoton Singh, the founder and principal of the school, approached him for help.

Ismat’s success has inspired other students of the school. “We are proud of our brother Ismat. He has shown every one of us that if you work hard you can be the topper like him. He really inspires us,” Class XII student of the school, M. Johnson, said. His story of excellence is a model for millions and millions of students across India. He is inspiration to each child of our nation.

Ismat son of a lower middle class Muslim Family he father a devote Muslim, has shown a bright path to his community, giving a message that focus, hard work, and big goal is key to success. India is land that honors, merit and appreciates excellence.
