RTI Amendment Bill 2019

The forces who were up against corruption during UPA, with the help of RTI, are fearing the same now. The days of transparency are gone,all anomalies can lie hidden as RTI stands diluted n weakened. The right to information is as important as the right to vote

The party with the difference is displaying the true color, no commitment towards people has left in these so-called crusaders against corruption. The BJP drove the RTI Amendment Bill through the lok sabha using it's brute majority. Why are RTI amendments not in their manifesto? No consultation with people. No deliberation in a standing committee. If they've nothing to hide, what's the Centre afraid of? The RTI Act was an outcome of years of struggle by common citizens, atleast Rajya sabha must have send this to a select committee.
