Responsibilities of Hospitals in the treatment of COVID19 - KARNATAKA

 Treatment for COVID19 Patients in Private Hospitals is completely cashless under AYUSHMAN BHARAT AROGYA KARNATAKA  SCHEME with  referral from commissioner of BBMP in Bengaluru and district commissioners in districts ( Public health authority)

Private hospital cannot refuse treatment for COVID 19 patients and should neither delay treatment nor seek advance payments

Patients wishing to go directly to private hospital without referral from commissioner BBmp and district commissioners, will have bear the cost of treatment themselves within the ceiling rates fixed by the government as given below

 Private hospitals should not collect higher rates than the rates fixed by the government

If Private hospitals refuse to treat COVID19 patients or delay in treatment or charge more than the rates fixed by the government patient can complain by calling.
