AIMC INTRODUCTION

All India Milli Council was established in the year 1992, as an Umbrella organization and a United Platform of the Muslim Community in India, it was formed with a feeling to unite the community, to enhance its religious and propagational consciousness, to lead it forward in the role of Khair-e-Ummah, for its economical security, to endevaour for its social welfare and educational upliftment, and to intimate strong and righteous steps to make it socially and politically powerful, to bring continuity in these steps and through this to bring together intellectuals from various sections of the society and to create means that they can share their experiences with each other for the noble cause of serving the community and the country as a whole.  All India Milli Council was established with the patronage and guidance of Hazrat Moulana Syed Abu.  Al-Hasan Ali Nadvi (R.A.).  The grand goal of filling colour into these dreams was carried out by Mufakkir-e-Millat Hazrath Moulana Qazi Mujahid-ul-Islam Qasmi (R.A.) whose twelve years of endeavour and hardship led the call of the Milli Council to every nuke and corner of the country and a large number of able and active people were attracted towards it.  Milli Council has always restricted itself from emotional and violent ways and adopted rational and constructive approach.  Milli Council has worked for the noble cause of uniting and integrating the community and has created an environment of unity and harmony with an ultimate grand goal the Milli has been awakening the community and has been informing them of the dangers and apprehensions.  Milli council’s way of thought has always been based on facts, it created a feeling of protecting the valuable assets of the community, as against distress and dejection it created initiative spirit among the muslim youth and stimulated the community to protect its Identity at all cost, inferiority complex and defensive and terrorized attitude, it has also strived in protecting the merits of democracy, to create a favourable public opinion against facism and an environment of fraternity, confidence and respect among the countrymen.  “Alhamdulillah” it has been continually active on this mission and its activities are going on in all the states, cities and villages of the Country.
All India Milli Council has been established and active in Karnataka, West Bengal, Jharkand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi,Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Goa, Assam, Bihar, Orissa, Telengana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujrat, Uttarkhand, Meghalaya & Manipur, these branches have also established District,Taluk, Tahsil and block level unit which are also active.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES :
Following are the aims and objects of the AIMC.
*  To develop unity and collectivism among the Muslims on the basis of Kalma-e-Taiyyeba and to strive for the Muslims to discharge their duties in this country in the capacity of the best Ummah.  *  To adopt reasonable measures for the safety of life, property and dignity of the Muslims.  * To strive for safeguarding the religious and cultural identity of the Muslims and to coordinate and cooperate with the various efforts being undertaken in this regard.  * To mobilize the public opinion against the fast spreading fascism, communal hatred and violence in the country.  To strengthen the good-will and brotherhood among all the religious communities and units in India and to develop a deep sense of mutual trust among them.  To strive for the safety of life, property, honour and culture of all the citizens of India, especially, the minorities and the oppressed class.  * To reinstate courage and confidence in the Muslims also that they do not consider themsevles as second class citizens in this country and rather believe that they can equally enjoy and share the seat of power as per the constitution and that they have to play their due role in the development of the country and in establishing a system which guarantees social justice.  * To plan for the educational and economic progress and social welfare of the Muslims.  To strive for the establishement of ‘Makatib and Madaris’ for religious education, schools and colleges for modern education, institutions, colleges, medical centres for professional education; institutions in the field of various vocational trades with an aim to provide the Muslim a level playing field for their intellectual growth and due reward of their efforts.  To co-ordinate and consolidate the institutional efforts in this regard.  * To develop political and collective awareness among Muslims and make them aware of the complexities of the situation and provide them adequate guidance. * To develop proactive leadership in the Muslims right from local to national level so that the above mentioned aims and objectives can be accomplished.
DEPARTMENTS 
For the accomplishment of the above mentioned aims and objectives, following departments are active in the AIMC keeping in view the need, situation and problems : Deptt. Of Research and Analysis, Deptt of Strategic Planning, Deptt of Dawah and Tableegh, Deptt of Religious Educdationa, Deptt. of Technical Education, Deptt of Modern Education, Deptt of Protection of Shariah & Social Reform, Deptt of Social Service, Deptt of Human Rights and Justice, Deptt of Economic Affairs, Deptt of Political Affairs, Deptt of Media, Deptt of Legal Aid. 
TARGETS
The AIMS has set the following targets 
(1)  To liberate the mankind from all sorts of slavery and to make them surrender before Allah alone. (2) To eliminate all sorts of distrinctions like those of race, caste and creed, rich and poor and to establish equality and brotherhood.  (3)  To replace lawlessness and injustice with peace and justice.  (4) To establish a just society in place of a society crippling with injustice, barbarism and exploitation.  (5)  The approach that has been adopted to achieve these goals has four key terms :  (a)  Coordination  (b)  Cooperation  (c) Information and Dissemination  (d)  Initiatives
