Unnao Rape horror

Image
People who lynch are glorified by Ministers People who rape are visited in jail by Ministers People who kill are receiving protection from the police or the govt. Helpless, judges, witnesses, victims & relatives are getting killed mysteriously.

The National Commission for Women asks
UP Police.
to ensure a speedy probe into the Unnao teenager's accident. The teenager, who had accused BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar of rape, was injured and two of her family members died in a road accident on Sunday.

The girl had accused Sengar of raping her at his residence where she went along with another relative seeking a job in 2017. Sengar was arrested on April 13 last year.

The mother of the survivor has blamed four-time BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar, the accused in the case who has now been in jail for over a year, for the accident.

FIR registered against BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, his brother Manoj Singh Sengar & 8 others in connection with Unnao rape case victim's accident in Raebareli. Good but this is probably because of media outrage. If BJP was serious about punishing # Unnao Rapist Kuldeep Sengar, it would have kicked him out of the party, The case needs to be moved out of UP & fast tracked if any justice is to be served. Or girl's life will remain in danger

Some bhakts are appealing Modi/Shah/Yogi to expel Unnao Rapist Sengar from the party.

They forgot Daya shankar Singh who was expelled after he called Mayawati a prostitute. BJP gave ticket to his wife , made her minister, later Daya shankar returned as BJP vice president.

Will this murderer spend even a single night in prison? If you wonder: Why don't women report rape more? Why and how are they frozen into silence? What are the consequences for coming forward? She's lost 3 family members and is fighting for her life.

Hon’ble Supreme Court of India should take suo-moto cognizance of unnao horror Road killing & SC monitored investigations in Unnao rape incident and series of deaths in mysterious conditions. It was clearly not an accident. He took the advantage of his power to cover up his mistake. Are police, politicians sleeping on this incident?

RTI Amendment Bill 2019

"Lashkar bhi tumhara hai, sardar tumhara hai..
Tum jhuth ko sach likh do, akhbar bhi tumhara hai.."

The forces who were up against corruption during UPA, with the help of RTI, are fearing the same now. The days of transparency are gone, all anomalies can lie hidden as RTI stands diluted n weakened. The right to information is as important as the right to vote
The party with the difference is displaying the true color, no commitment towards people has left in these so-called crusaders against corruption. The BJP drove the RTI Amendment Bill through the lok sabha using it's brute majority. Why are RTI amendments not in their manifesto? No consultation with people. No deliberation in a standing committee. If they've nothing to hide, what's the Centre afraid of? The RTI Act was an outcome of years of struggle by common citizens, atleast Rajya sabha must have send this to a select committee.

Sheila ji Ni More

Sad to hear about the passing away of former CM
My heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones.
It is Impossible to travel even a  km in Delhi without being touched by what Sheila Dixit just left behind. Her body of work, her ability to get things done even when there was a rival govt at Centre or unfriendly governor made her exceptional.
Capital’s finest chief minister.
Goodbye.

Strong people don't put other's down, they lift them up. Don't be a means for someone's downfall, rather, encourage them.
Wherever you go, treat people with kindness. But don’t expect gratitude or anything in return. Let the reward be from the Almighty.
When we repair our relationship with Allah, Allah will repair everything else for us.
On this best day of week
Read lots of Durood.
Don't forget to read Surah Kahf today or at the very least the first 10 ayahs.

हमारे मुँह से जो निकले वही सदाक़त है
हमारे मुँह में तुम्हारी ज़ुबान थोड़ी है

Muslim youth assaulted by armed gang for consuming beef in Tamil Nadu, four held

India vs New Zealand, 1st Semi-Final

India may have lost, but Jadeja has won the hearts of sports fans with his battling display. When you give everything you can walk off the field with your head held high. Well done New Zealand & well played Jadeja , Jadeja played the innings of his life , and what a day to do so. Dhoni and him got us in it from nowhere but alas wasn’t enough . Well fought India and congratulations to NewZealand on reaching the finals. It is convention to give the player of the match award to someone from the winning side. Matt Henry was fantastic today but the performance of the match came from Ravindra Jadeja. He is my player of the match.

England vs India

Preview by Ganesh Chandrasekaran

Jonny Bairstow has had middling returns in this World Cup so far, averaging only 35. He's hitting more headlines now after prompting a further lash out after initially suggesting that criticism has been too harsh against England. It might have just brought on more pressure on the team, but there's a theory that it's just Bairstow being Bairstow, looking for that extra needle to get him going. He's thrived on it in the past. And England might need it more than ever tomorrow. Not just because they are in danger of losing out on a semifinal spot but also because it could be the best way to break India's unbeaten roll.

Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami have been outstanding in the last two games, but even when Bhuvneshwar Kumar was fit and playing, India did not concede more than 48 in a powerplay this World Cup. Their economy rate in the first ten overs of 3.72 is comfortably better than the next best (4.88 by England). It is even more significant because this is India's mojo. With a good bowling powerplay, their spinners start looking better than they already are, their fifth bowler is allowed to bowl according to Virat Kohli, and there's no deviation from their best plans. And so far in the World Cup, that applecart has rolled along smoothly, hitting no road bumps.

They could hit their first one against England, for there is no pair more explosive at the top than Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy (who is expected to return) in ODI cricket at the moment. Their scoring rate in this phase of 5.79 is comfortably better than the next (4.93). Put that up against the numbers of Shami and Bumrah, and you can see why this battle in the powerplay, could potentially be match-defining.

But those could mean little if England can't find a way to battle their pitch demons. Eoin Morgan emphasized once again on that point when asked what England have been doing wrong. "Where we've let ourselves down as a group is adapting to conditions," he said. The pitch, therefore, could be of as much interest as anything else surrounding this game. It is different to the one that New Zealand played Pakistan on, which was on the slower side. In the two games here so far, wickets have fallen more frequently in the powerplay than in any other phase.

The England thinktank must have realised the need to strike India hard in the powerplay, for Morgan admitted that they'd take the risk on Roy if there is no danger of a long-term injury. If he and Bairstow do find a way to tackle the conditions and India's bowling form, they could be making the headlines for the right reasons once again.

When: June 30, 2019, at 10:30 AM Local Time

Where: Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham

What to expect: The sun has been out in the days leading up, and it is expected to stay that way through the game as well.

Team News:

India: They are unlikely to change a combination that is winning.

Probable XI: Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Vijay Shankar, MS Dhoni, Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah

England: They decided to wait and see how Jason Roy and Jofra Archer pull through in their last practice session before the game to make a decision. Morgan admitted that they'd take a risk on both if there was no danger of a long-term injury. Those sessions though indicated that the latter could very well miss out, having bowled very little of his full run-up and none at all in the nets, which brings Liam Plunkett into the equation.

Probable XI: Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Moeen Ali, Liam Plunkett, Adil Rashid, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood

What they said:

"Although we haven't lost a game until now, we still can't be complacent as a side. The reason why we won all the games that we've played is because we've been very professional and precise in pressure moments. It [England's losses] is a bit surprising, but I expected something like that in the World Cup, where teams are going to be put under pressure." - Virat Kohli on his own team and England

"No, I can't fault the commitment or application that the guys have produced in every single game. Where we've let ourselves down as a group is adapting to conditions. It's been a bigger challenge in this World Cup than previous bilateral series that we've played. So tomorrow's going to be the exact same. We're going to have to adapt to conditions, adapt to playing against a strong side in India" - Eoin Morgan

Karnataka VS OLA

Bangalore has poor public transport. The buses are few and far between and don’t cover a large part of the city. The city cannot do without cabs. Without any recourse, the government has simply banned Ola. Bangalore travels on cabs. Karnataka govt has banned #Olacabs, #Uber is now charging 2x or 3x surge. No Ola on the roads. Who do you think is benefitting from this? Certainly not the drivers and the general public. People are suffering because of ola ban and surge price of other taxi aggregators, Taxi people are suffering because they have to earn everyday and eat everyday ..drivers are suffering as they are jobless. Who will be answerable?

Stiffle your own start-ups, and then cry why there aren't enough job creators.

*Message for Friday*

We have all experienced a broken heart. But we don’t have to be imprisoned by the pain. We can hide the suffering from others but not the One who made us. Call out to the Almighty who understands our hearts even better than we do.
Dua' is your personal talk with Allah. You do not need a group or an intermediary to converse with Allah. Even a silent prayer from a sincere heart doesn't go unnoticed Allah knows & hears every prayer. You only have to ask with full conviction. May Allah remove your pain, burden, hardship and bless you with peace and happiness.

Rise of the Sphynx

Dr Mohammad Manzoor Alam
The rise of Anwar Ibrahim, leader of Malaysia’s ruling PKR (Parti Keadilan Rakyat) after years of imprisonment brings to mind the mythical Sphynx, the bird that was burnt to ashes and later it rose from the ashes. Today, Ibrahim has nearly two decades of imprisonment behind him on charges most people believe to be politically motivated. Scheduled to take over as Malaysia’s PM by May 2020, Ibrahim has emerged as an influential voice the world over.

Ibrahim has grown incredibly over the last three decades as a significant world statesman often seen walking in the footsteps of Nehru and Mandela, leaders whose words are taken seriously worldwide. When he was in Delhi for the fourth Raisina Dialogue for four days earlier this month, I had a few moments with him, renewing our relationship of decades.

The way he carried himself and the dignity and reassurance reflected in his speech and manner (as well as the profound content of the speech) showed that he had grown in stature and maturity during his long imprisonment like his heroes, Nehru and Mandela. His valedictory address was heard with rapt attention at Raisina Dialogue by some of the country’s most influential persons.

Everything he has been saying is not necessarily in sync with India’s policy preferences, yet he is heard with utmost respect. For instance, his view that India should use its traditional moral influence to resolve the Rohingya humanitarian disaster without fear of its stance being exploited for the Kashmir issue.

This is the man who, exactly three decades ago, presaged the rise of Asia in his widely-read The Asian Renaissance. Today, the rise of Asia is a much more brightly visible reality. He has often been talking of “Indonesia, China and India” as the most visible landmarks in Asia’s rise.

In his worldview, Rabindranath Tagore, Allama Mohammad Iqbal and a number of Asian Christian and Buddhist thinkers come to create the warp and woof of the great civilisations of Asia, which he cherishes as a common heritage. During his visit he remembered an argument with Prime Minister Indira Gandhi when he was a 20-year old student visiting India with a students’ delegation. Indira Gandhi heard him and treated him “like a son”, advising him to work for change.

He began his valedictory address at the Raisina Dialogue with humility. That, despite his half a century of deep involvement with Indian democracy, society and culture, India sometimes looked like an “enigma” and a “land of contradictions” to him. He went on to explain why it looked so: “India, despite any recent image of veering towards religious hardliners, remains a vibrant democracy, an example for many other developing countries and one of the most important nations in Asia.”

That this statesman is deeply influenced by the vision of an earlier, globally respected statesman, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, was clear in his remark: “Nehru was right to bring up Asian concerns and ask for solidarity among developing countries to stand against the arrogance of superpowers.”

India has been an “enigma” to many foreigners trying to study it. But what does India’s “recent image of veering towards religious hardliners” signify? It is not very difficult to guess that it means communal polarisation, mass violence and massacres (like Gujarat 2002 and Muzaffarnagar 2013) to garner majority vote. An extension of this phenomenon is the long series of lynchings on which the Modi government reacted too late and without result. The lynch mobs were encouraged. A 21st century democracy that certainly India is, cannot be comfortable with mob violence and still think its image as a democracy would not be dented.

India and Malaysia are two countries and, in spite of their being heir to a great Asian civilisational heritage, they are two nations and their perspectives and national interests may not be always identical. Yet, it is always rewarding to listen to this great reconciler of “contradictions” who envisages a single Asia, like a single Europe. Thanks, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Hoping to listen to you more often in future. And thanks to Raisina Dialogue organisers for such precious enlightenment.
