The Price of a Hollow Victory - کامیابی کا آئینہ

 جمعہ ہمیں ایک بنیادی سوال کی طرف لوٹاتا ہے: ہم کامیابی حاصل کرتے ہوئے کیا بنتے جا رہے ہیں؟

ہم نے شاید کامیابی کا مطلب ہی بدل دیا ہے۔ دولت، عہدہ، شہرت اور اثر و رسوخ کو کامیابی سمجھ لیا، مگر یہ بھول گئے کہ منزل تک پہنچنے والا راستہ بھی اپنا حساب رکھتا ہے۔

کیا فائدہ ایسی ترقی کا جو نماز چھین لے؟

کیا حاصل ایسی دولت کا جو دل سے اطمینان چھین لے؟

اور ایسی شہرت کس کام کی جو انسان کو اپنے ربّ سے دور کر دے؟قرآن ہمیں متنبہ کرتا ہے"اور اللہ کے عہد کو تھوڑی سی قیمت کے بدلے نہ بیچو۔(النحل: 95)رسولِ اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ قیامت کے دن مومن کے میزان میں حسنِ اخلاق سے زیادہ بھاری کوئی چیز نہیں ہوگی۔حقیقی کامیابی یہ نہیں کہ دنیا ہمیں کامیاب قرار دے؛ اصل کامیابی یہ ہے کہ ہم دنیا کی آزمائشوں کے درمیان اپنے کردار، اپنی نماز اور اپنے ربّ سے تعلق کو محفوظ رکھ سکیں۔قرآن کا فیصلہ بھی یہی ہے"یقیناً وہ کامیاب ہوا جس نے اپنے نفس کو پاک کر لیا۔(الشمس: 9

اس لیے اگر کسی منزل تک پہنچنے کے لیے ایمان، دیانت، نماز یا ضمیر قربان کرنا پڑے تو رک جائیے۔ہر منزل قابلِ حصول نہیں، اور ہر قیمت قابلِ ادائیگی نہیں۔

دنیا کے سامنے کامیاب ہونا آسان ہے؛اللہ کے سامنے سرخرو ہونا اصل کامیابی ہے۔

Hollow Victory

This Friday, remember: the destination never justifies a corrupted journey. In the feverish chase for success, many trade their salah, their character, their very bond with Allah—for what? A hollow victory that crumbles under divine scrutiny. The Qur'an warns: "And do not barter away the covenant of Allah for a paltry gain" (16:95). What profit is there in worldly triumph if your soul stands bankrupt before its Creator?

The Prophet ﷺ said: "The heaviest thing on the believer's scale will be good morals." Success without integrity is not success—it is spiritual suicide. You cannot compromise your deen for dunya and expect blessing. You cannot abandon prayer for promotion and expect peace. You cannot sever your rope to Allah while climbing ladders of ambition and expect to reach anything meaningful.

True success is not measured by titles, wealth, or status. It is measured by whether you remained upright when the world demanded you bend. The Qur'an declares: "He has succeeded who purifies it [the soul], and he has failed who instills it with corruption" (91:9-10). Purification requires patience, meticulous adherence to truth, and unshakeable commitment to what is right—even when it costs you everything

So ask yourself: what are you becoming in this pursuit? If the answer compromises your salah, your honesty, your relationship with Allah—stop. No success is worth that price.
